Welcome!

I’ve been wanting to start a blog for quite some time, but it took a while for me to learn how to do it and dedicate the time to make it happen. Now here we are!

My goal for this blog is to basically share the joy of gardening. Since the motto of Daylily Sun is “Gardening for Joy,” I want to have a place to share little experiences, photos, and learning I gather along the way and hope that it adds a bit of sunshine to the online gardening space.

My garden is not a goal-oriented place. Well, maybe it is a little, but mostly I am focused on enjoying it.  There are certainly plenty of websites, blogs, and social media influencers who have lots of great advice on maximizing your garden, but I just want to focus on experiencing it and gleaning whatever joy I can as I do.

If you’d like to join me on this journey, I would love to have you.  Even though our gardens may be in different places, with different climates, and in all different styles and types, we can ALL experience the joy of gardening and share it with each other when and how we can.
